- Specification for Power Access 2300 Residential Door Mount Door Opener:
- Provide Power Access Corporation Model 2300 residential door opener, shall comply with ANSI Standard A156.19-2002
- Standard Power Assist and Low Energy Power Operated Doors.
- The automatic door opener shall be electro-mechanical and mounted on the pull side of the face of the door.
- The operator clutch arm assembly shall be attached to the door frame above the door and shall open and close the door.
- The arm linkage shall be driven by a fractional horse power gear motor and take approximately seven (7) seconds to open and seven (7) seconds to close this fixed speed to accommodate slower moving disabled traffic.
- Clearance behind the opened door must be at least 3" to permit a full 90 degree opening of the door.
- The unit shall have a friction clutch so the door will stop when it meets an obstruction on the opening or closing cycle.
- The door shall be able to be opened and closed manually.
- A setting is available so the door shall be able to be opened automatically and remain open until a second signal is transmitted to close the door.
- The unit has a built in radio receiver to receive a remote radio activate signal to open the door.
- The operator can be wired directly to an electric strike (lock) to cause a strike release when the unit gets a signal to open.
